April is Military Child Month, and Saturday a local golf course said thanks to families serving the country.
Wilderness Ridge hosted its 4th annual golf clinic for military kids.
Almost 50 kids signed up. Organizers say that's the most ever.
The kids got to work with golf pros, learning more about the game and having some fun.
Military parents say it's a chance for their kids to meet others like them and feel a sense of community.
Organizers say it's a way for the golf course to give back to the community and say thanks to our soldiers and their families.
They say it's important to recognize parents aren't the only ones who serve - their kids do too.
